IanaIO’s Energy Soft is more than a dark theme. It is a deliberate design system that treats energy and eye comfort as first-class product requirements.

White Screen vs. Sound Effect
A pure white screen is one of the most expensive and least friendly things you can show a user.
A short, well-designed sound is one of the cheapest — and one of the most human.

Why the difference is so large
- On OLED screens every white pixel is fully lit → significantly higher power use.
- Even on LCDs the backlight runs at full intensity for white content.
- Our click system uses a pure Web Audio oscillator, runs for a fraction of a second, performs microseconds of work, and is immediately discarded. No permanent AudioContext, no file download, no decoding.
Bottom line
Keeping a white screen visible costs orders of magnitude more energy than playing these short, sparse UI sounds. The audio approach is already one of the cheapest interactive feedback mechanisms available.
